Page 1 ORDINANCE # 1617 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING QRDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTLON 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as: follows: Lot 12, R-1-W, Owen Division of the St. Louis Tract, Mobile County, Alabama, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point on the South- west right of way line of U. S$. Highway 45, where it is intersected by the North- west right of way line of Victory Avenue, run N 36 degrees 19' W along said South- west right of way line of U. S. Highway 45 a distance of 120.0 feet to a point where is in intersected by the Southeast line of said Lot 12, R-1-W, Owen Division of the St. Louis Tract, said point being the point of beginning of the property herein described; thence continuing N 36 degrees 19' W along said Southwest right of way line of U. S. Highway 45 a distance of 431.10 feet to the intersection with the Northwest line of said Lot 12, R-1-W, Owen Division of the St. Louis Tract; ¢ thence along said Northwest. line of said Lot 12, R=1-W, Owen Diviston of the St. Louis Tract run S$ 51 degrees 50' W 995.06 feet to a point where it is intersected by the Northeast right of way line of Owens Street; thence along said Northeast right of way line of Owens Street run S 36 degrees 18! 52'' E 430.56 feet toa point where it is intersected by the aforemention Southeast line of Lot 12, R-i-W, Owen Division of the St. Louis Tract, thence along said Southeast line of Lot 12, R-1-W, Owen Division of the St. Louis Tract run N 5] degrees 51' 53" E 995.06 feet to the point of beginning. The Classification of said property Is hereby changed from Residential (R-2) District to Manufacturing (M-2) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to con- struct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of safd Ordinance in a Manufacturing (M-2) District; provided, however, that the plans for any ; Structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981. a a SECTION 2.
