Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1716 AN ORDINANCE TO CONVEY REAL PROPERTY TO JOHN A. ROBERTS AND DAVID D. ROBERTS WAS READ. WHEREAS, that certain real property located in the City of Mobile, County of Mobile, State of Alabama, being more particularly described as Lot 1, Block 28, Resubdivision of Squares 26 through 29, Government Street Terrace or DuBroca Tract, according to the plat thereof recorded in Map Book 2, Page 16, Probate Records, Mobile County, Alabama, has been assessed to the City of Prichard since 1980; and WHEREAS, a search of the real property records in the Office of the Judge of Probate, Mobile County, Alabama, did not reveal any instruments or other documents by which the City of Prichard has any claim of title to said property; and WHEREAS, the said property is not needed for public or municipal purposes and it appearing that the said property has been mis- takenly assessed to the City of Prichard; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE : The City Council of the City of Prichard, Alabama, does hereby direct that the Mayor of the City of Prichard convey all the right, title, interest and claim in and to the above described real property held by the City of Prichard to John A. Roberts and David D. Roberts. SECTION TWO: This ordinance shall have full force_and effect upon its adoption and publication as anes aw. i Adopted this 13th day of March, 1990.
