SECTION 1: The sanitary sewers, manholes, and other appur- _ tenances thereto hereinafter provided for shall be constructed in _ ¥ the ‘City of Prichard pursuant to the provisions of Chapter il of “Title 37, of the Code of Alabama, recompiled, 1958. ah H SECTION 2: The sanitary sewers, including the necessary manholes” and other appurtenances shall be constructed in the corporate limits ' of the City of Prichard in the locations hereinafter specified: 4 an . OZARK STREET: From West Main Street Northeast a distance Foe. of 725 feet. SECTION 3: The following materials shall be used in the con- struction of said sanitary sewer: (a) Pipe and fittings shall be made 7 from clay according to Federal Specification, SS-P-361; (b) Joints ° shall be of material having resilient properties and shall be applied at the factory, all in accordance with ASTM designation C425-60T; (c) Manholes shall be of masonry construction with cast iron frame and covers. SECTION 4: The cost of constructing the improvements provided for in this ordinance shall be assessed against the properties abutting pn the streets and portions thereof herein provided to be improved in the manner provided by the laws of the state of Alabama; provided, 4 that no assessment shall exceed the cost of the improvements and no assessment shall exceed the increased value of theproperty to be assessed by reason of the special benefits derived from aich improvements.
