Page 1 ORDINANCE #1765 AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE STANDARD... MECHANICAL CODE FOR THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the 1991 edition of the Standard Mechanical Code, copyright 1991 by the Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc., with all amendments and updates thereto, which has been of file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Prichard, Alabama, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Prichard, Alabama on the 12th day of January, 1993 are hereby adopted as the Plumbing Code of the City of Prichard. SECTION 2. That a copy of this Ordinance shall be published pursuant to and according to law, after its adoption, but it shall not be necessary for the said Plumbing Code to be published in a newspaper, nor shall the same be spread at length upon the minutes of the Council, but this Ordinance shall be recorded in the Minutes. SECTION 3. The said Plumbing Code, 1991 edition with all amendments and updates shall be in full force and effect on and after the 16th day of February, 1993, and all ordinance heretofore adopted by the City of Prichard in conflict therewith are hereby repealed.
