BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The regular municipal election in the City of Prichard shall be held on Tuesday, August 8, 1972, and a run-off election in the event no candidate for any office receives a majority of the votes cast in such election for such office shall be held on Tuesday, September 12, 1972 SECTION 2. The polls shall open at 8:00 asm. and shall re- main open without adjournment until 6:00 peMe, and no longer} provided, that any elector standing in line to vote at the time of closing and who is not disqualified shall be allowed to cast his ballot. The City Clerk shall accept statements of candidacy which conform to the form prescribed by law and ordinance from 8:00 dems June 5, 1972 until 5:00 peme July 5, 1972, the day and time fixed by law as the deadline for filing statements of candidacye SECTION 4 Allwin T.
