Page 1 ORDINANCE no.___2397 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF Th CITY OF PRICHARD BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follow to-wit: COMMENCING at the Intersection of the North Right- of-way line of Alley No. 7 with the West Right-of- way line of St. Stephens Road; thence run Northwestwardly and along the Westerly Right-of-way line of St. Stephens Road, 171.60 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continue Northwestwardly and along the Westerly Right-of-way line of St. Stephens Road, 343.20 feet; thence on an interior angle of 61°41', run Southwest- wardly, 1000.56 feet; thence on an interior angle of 98°16' run Southeastwardly and parallel with St. Stephens Road, 343.20 feet; thence on an interior angle of 81044! run Northeastwardly, 1000.56 feet to the point of beginning. Said described premises being Lots 2 and 3 in the OWENS DIVISION OF THE ST, LOUIS TRACT, RANGE 1 WEST. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from (R-3) District to (B-2) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a (B-2) District provided however that: The plans for any structure or pbuilding sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Prichard and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance No. 981.
