Page 1 —= a a ORDINANCE mo. Fo 3. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD AS FOLLOWS: That Ordinance No. 901 be amended as follows: ~ SECTION 1, The following fees and charges shall be charged for activites and rental fees for Municipal Stadium: Football: Senior High Schools; and Colleges ten (10%) per cent of gross receipts after taxes have been taken owt with a minimum fee of two hundred ($200.00) dollars which ever is greater, with all the accommodations furnished that aré necessary to play football game, including adequate police protection of at Least one policeman for every thousand (1,000) spectatora. For Junior Varsity and Junior High School games a fee of ten (10%) per eent of gross receipts after taxes have been taken out or $15.00 per hour for lights which ever is greater. The annual Junior High game at night sponsored by the Prichard Junior Chamber of Commerce will pay for the lights at the rate of $19,00 per hour. ‘fPrack: All track events a fee of 10% gross receipts after taxes have been taken out or $15,00 per hour for lights which ever is greater, Special Events: Special events such as Boxing, Wrestling, Variety Shows, Religious Revivals, Singing Gonventions, Political Rallies ten (10%) per cent of gross receipts after taxes have been taken out with a minimum fee of two hundred ($200.00) dollars which ever is greater, provided events lasting more than ore day or night shall be subject to a minimum of $100,00, (Boxing or Wrestling events sponsored by the VFW a fee of 10% of gross receipts after taxes have been taken out with the provision that the organization furnish ticket sellers and ticket takers at no cést to the City), P.TeAs or School May Day Festivals or programs free in day time, but ten (10%) per cent of gross receipts after taxes have been taken out with a minimum fee of two hundred ($200.00) dollars which ever is greater 1f used at night. For any event that a fee is charged tha City will furnish an adequate staff to put on the events, If the organization renting the Stadium desires to furnish part or all of the staff the fee and minimum will remain the samés Graduation Exercises ~ a fee of $15.00 per hour for lights. SECTION 2. Such fees and charges shall be paid to the City Clerk of the City of Prichard within 5 business days after the conclusion of the avent. SECTION # - Violation of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $100.00 and or imprisonment not to exceed 6 months, Adopted this 19th day of dune, 1961.
