Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1375 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITy COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1, That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard, be and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows to-wit: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Section 4 Township 4 South, Range 1 West, Mobile County . Alabama; run South 00 degrees 23 minutes 30 seconds West, a distance of 1684.10 feet to a point; thence run South 75 degrees 30 minutes 30 seconds West, a distance of 39.29 feet to a point; thence run South 03 degrees 47 minutes - 30 seconds West, a distance of 17.92 feet to the , point of beginning of the property herein des~ eribed;, thence continuing South 03 degrees 47 minutes 30 seconds West, a distance of 993.28 feet to a point on the Northeast right of way line of a 100 foot railroad right of way; thence run North 45 degrees 30 minutes West along said Northeast line of railroad right of way, a distance of 1513.14 feet to a point on the South right of way line of Kate Street (27 foot right of way:; thence run North 47 degrees 14 minutes East along said South Line of Kate Street, a distance of 195.21 feet.to the P. C, of a curve to the right:having a central angle of 28 degrees 23 minutes and a radius of 120.08 feet; thence Ccon- tinuing along said South Line of Kate Street, rin Northeastwardly along the arc of said curve, a distance of 59.49 feet to the P. T. of said curve; thence continuing along said South line of Kate Street, run North 75 degrees 37 minutes East, a distance of 724.41 feet to a point; thence run South 01 degrees 45 minutes West, a distance of 408,80 feet to a point; thence “run South 89 degrees 36 minutes 30 seconds East, a distance of 260.17 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 17.98 acres, more or less. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-1) District to Industrial (M-l1) District and it ‘shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any. structures permitted by the terms of aaid Ordinance in an Industrial (M-1) District provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the City of Prichard: that prior to the issuance of a building permit, a site | plan be approved by the Planning Commission, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance No. 981.
