Page 1 ORDINANCE No. __ 1290 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 959 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 959 of the City of Prichard is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 5. The building, plumbing and electrical permits provided for in Ordinance No. 959 shall be issued without charge on a one-time basis only to United States Veterans who have honorably served in the Armed Forces of the United States for at least two (2) years where application for such permits is made as to personal residences of such United States Veterans and upon satisfactory proof that (a) the applicant has served honorably in the Armed Forces of the United States for at least two (2) years, (b) that he owns the property for which application is made either individually or jointly with his spouse, and (c) that the residence or improvements for which the application is filed is or will be the personal residence of such United States Veteran.
