Page 1 ORDINANCE No, 73 ¢ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. There is hereby levied, imposed and assessed a tapping or connection fee of $5.38 per foot for each front foot of property which any person, firm or corporation desires to connect to the Sanitary Sewer System installed under Ordinance No. 854 and Ordinance No. 858 of the City of Prichard. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall not apply to nor become effective against any connection made from property against which @ regular sewer assess ment has been made and has been paid or constitutes a valid first lien, thereon, or a connection or dumping fee has been agreed upon and paid. SECTION 3, Any person, firm or corporation who owns or occupies or has under his, her or its control any real property from or to which such connection is or has been made or caused to be made in violation of Section 1 hereof shall be guilty of an offense against the City of Prichard and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to a fine of not more than $100.00 and may in addition be sentenced to hard labor or jail for the City of Prichard for a perod not to exceed six months.
