The adoption of such amendment will be considered by the City Council of the City of Prichard in the Gouncil Chamber of the City Hall on Tuesday, January 18, 1977 at 5:00 P.M. At such time and place all persons who desire shall have an opportunity to be heard in opposition to, or in favor of such amendment. BE If ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: to wit: . Commencing at the Northwest corner of Turner Road and Ozark Avenue, formerly Eighth Street of the Town of Whistler, run Northwestwardly along the South Line of Turner Road 159.3 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning; then with an angle to the left of 61 degrees 32 minutes, run westwardly 135 feet to a point, then with an angle to the right of 90 degrees 41 minutes, run northwardly 164.6 feet to a point, then with an interior angle of 76 degrees 06 minutes 30 seconds, run eastwardly 43.2% feet to a point on the South line of T pner Road, then Southwardly along the South line of said Turner Road 199.6 feet to*the point of beginning. it i The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-2) District to Residential (R-3) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Residential (R-3) District} provided, however, that the plans. for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
