Page 1 ORDINANCE.NO. 1665 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: Part lot two (2) of the JACOB SAXON HOMESTEAD, according to map recorded in Deed Book 132, N. S., page 337 of the Probate Court Records of Mobile County, Alabama, and more particularly . described according to said map as COMMENCING at a point on the South side of Turner Road ninety~three (93) feet west of the Southwest corner of Turner Road and Price Avenue, running thence westwardly on the south side of Turner Road one hundred fifty-five 155 feet, thence southwardly and parallel with Price Avenue two hundred fifty (250) feet six (6) inches, more or less to the north line of Saxon Street; thence running eastwardly on the north side of Saxon Street one hundred fifty-five (155) feet, thence north- wardly and parallel with Price Avenue two hundred fifty (250) feet six (6) inches to the place of beginning. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-2) and Business (B-1) Districts to Business (B-2) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such Property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-2) District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
