Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1661 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE !T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981, together with the Zoning Map of the City of Prichard be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows: Commencing at intersection of East line of Jane Street with North line of U. S$. Highway 45; then run Northeastwardly Along the East line of said Jane Street, 150 feet to the point of beginning of this parcel of land; then continue Northeastwardly along the East line of Jane Street, 25 feet; then Southwestwardly and parallel to Elaine Street,395 feet, more or less, to a point; -then Southwestwardly parallel to Carol Street a distance of 175 feet to a point on the North right of way of U. S. Highway 45; then run Northwestwardly along said U. S. Highway 45, a distance of 219.20 feet; then Northeastwardly and parallel to Jane Street, 150 feet; then Northwestwardly and parallel to U. S. Highway 4s a distance of 175 feet to the point of beginning. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-3) District to Business (B-i) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-1) District; provided, however, that theplans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the Building Laws of the City of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be erected only in compliance with such laws, including the requirements of said Ordinance #981.
