Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1767 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 1(4) OF THE LICENSE CODE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD BEING ORDINANCE NO. 1706, AS AMENDED, TO ADD SUBSECTION 211(A) BE If ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 1(4) of Ordinance No. 1706, the License Code of the City of Prichard, shall be, and the same hereby is, amended to add subsection 211(A), Landfills, which shall read as follows: 211A. LANDFILLS. The term landfill as used herein shall refer to any lot, parcel, tract or acreage of land used for the purpose of disposal, treatment, storage or processing of solid wastes. a. Each person, firm or other entity engaged in the business of operating a landfill must obtain a permit from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management and all other applicable state, federal or local permitting authorities. b. 0.07000 of annual gross receipts c. Minimum license of $5,000.00. SECTION 2. All other parts of Ordinance No. 1706 not affected by this Ordinance shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3.
