THE CITY COUNCIL:OF THE CITY:OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA aot - Section 1.3, Every person,:firm or corporation, before moving any - heavy machinery or equipment, on or along any public street in ‘the City of Prichard, which such movement would constitute a hazard to other traffic, or endanger life or property along the ** route of such movement, shall obtain a “license for each such move, ~ and a fee of: TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) is hereby fixed as the cost of said license,.such fee to.be applied to the expense of surveying . the.intended route of movement, and expense of police escort and = assistance, and to be placed into a special fund for the purchase ~ . and maintenance of police motorcycles. . Section 2. <A detailed plan showing the proposed route of movement ~~ and the dimensions of the heavy machinery or equipment to be moved - shall be presented to the Chief of Police at least 24 hours prior .. to the time such move is to be made, . Section 3. <Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision - of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than ONE HUNDRED ($100.00) DOLLARS, and may in addition, be senterices to jail or hard labor.for.the City of Prichard for a period not to exceed six (6) months. . .
