Page 1 ORDINANCE # 1209 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE # 1201 TO EXEMPT THOSE PERSONS, FIRMS, CORPORATIONS, ASSOCIATIONS AND OTHER LICENSED RETAILERS ENGAGED IN THE BUSINESS OF SELLING, STORING, RECEIVING ANY MALT OR BREWED BEVERAGES IN THAT AREA ANNEXED BY THE CITY OF PRICHARD BY VIRTUE OF THAT ELECTION ON THE 31st DAY OF AUGUST, 1967. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL oF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: . SECTION is That Ordinance # 1201 be amended to exempt those certain persons, firms, corporations, associations, and other licensed retailers engaged in the business of selling, storing, receiving any malt or brewed beverages in that newly annexed area to the City of Prichard, annexed by virtue of an election held on the 31st day of August, 1967, from paying that additional license tax on malt or brewed beverages as provided for in Ordinance #1201. SECTION 2: All ordinances and resolutions and parts thereof in conflict with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. / SECTION 3: This ordinance shall become effective upon its adoption by the City Council.
