Page 1 ORDINANCE # 1625 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 1570 (SERVICE FEE ON RETURNED CHECKS). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS: Section 1 now reads: A ten dollar service fee is hereby levied and imposed on all checks deposited for collection in a Bank, Banking Institution, or Savings and Loan Association, by the City of Prichard and returned to the City of Prichard by said Bank, Banking tn- stitution, or Savings and Loan Association as being worthless or because of insuf~ ficient funds, or for being uncollectible for any reason. THEREFORE: Let it now read as follows: Section 1. A ten dollar service fee plus any additional expenses incurred in collecting of the checks is hereby levied and imposed on all checks deposited for collection in a Bank, Banking Institution, or Savings and Loan Association, by the City of Prichard and returned to the City of Prichard by said ank, Barking Institution, or Savings and Loan Assocjiation as being worthless or Ce of in-\ sufficient funds, or for being uncollectible for any reason.
