Page 1 ORDINANCE #1642 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE #1623 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, that Section 1 of Ordinance #1623 be and hereby is amended so that the Ordinance as amended is as follows: SECTION 1.. Except as hereinafter provided, it shall be unawful for any person to drive a truck of greater than 3/4 ton on any street or highway of the City of Prichard, Alabama, except for the following named streets or highways: Paper Mil] Road to Diaz Street to Turner Road to Wasson Avenue to Main Street to Branch Avenue to Highway 45 to Lott Road. SECTION 2. Except as hereinafter. provided, it shall be unlawful. for any person to drive a log truck or paper wood truck on any street or highway of the City of Prichard, Alabama, except for the following named streets or highways: St. Stephens Road (U. $. Highway 45), Craft Highway and Bay Bridge Road. SECTION 3. The provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance shall not apply to trucks making a delivery or picking up an item or items within the City, to municipal or public trucks, or to trucks going to or from the residence or place of business of the owner of such trucks if located within the City. SECTION 4. The provisions of Section 2 of this Ordinance shall not apply to log or paper wood trucks going to or from the residence or place of business of the owner of such ... trucks if located within the City. . SECTION 5. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances im conflict herewith are hereby re- pealed. SECTION 6. Any person violating Sections 1 or 2 of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not more than $500.00, and/or imprisonment in the City of Pri- chard jail for a term not to exceed six months.
