Page 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1262 AN. ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, BEING ORDINANCE NO. 981. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, being Ordinance No. 981 together with the Zoning map of the City of Prichard, be, and the same are hereby changed and altered in respect to that certain property in the City of Prichard, State of Alabama, described as follows, to-wit: That certain lot of land located in the village of Whistler, Mobile County, Alabama, being at a point on the East line of St. Stephens Road a distance of 131 feet 6 inches Southwardly from the Southeast inter- section of St. Stephens Road and Branch Street, running thence Southwardly and along the East side of said St. Stepehns Road a distance of 64 feet 6 inches to a point - at the Northwest corner of property formerly of Mattie moore, run thence Eastwardly and along the North line of said property formerly of Mattie Moore a distance of 89 feet to a point, run thence Northwardly and parallel to the East line of St. Stephens Road a distance of 64 feet 6 inches to a point, run thence Westwardly a distance of 89 feet to the point of beginning; being part of Lot 2 in Square 24 of the Carver Tract as per plat thereof recorded in Deed Book 60, Page 347, Probate Court Records of Mobile County, Alabama. The Classification of said property is hereby changed from Residential (R-3 to Business (B-2) District and it shall hereafter be lawful to construct on such property any structures permitted by Ordinance No. 981, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Prichard, and to use said premises for any such use permitted by the terms of said Ordinance in a Business (B-2) District; provided, however, that the plans for any structure or building sought to be erected on said property shall be in compliance with the building laws of the Gity of Prichard, and that any structure shall be approved by the Building Inspector of the City of Prichard, and that any such structure be ereetied only in compliance with such laws, including the re- quirments of said Ordinance No. 981. Section 2. ‘This Ordinance shall have full force and affect upon ite approval as required by law. OSL « Vv. O.
