BE If ORDAINED’ BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS - FOLLOWS : : ; SECTION 1, It-shall be unlawful and an offense against the City of Prichard for any person, firm or corporation to install or cause to ba installed in any new building or structure in the City of Prichard or within the Police Jurisdiction thereof, or in any building or structure in the City of Prichard or within the Police Jurisdiction thereof now in existence any wires or wiring Cesigned for the conduct of electricity unless the same shall be enclosed in conduit or in-thin wire tubing, such conduits or thin wire tubing to be of the quality of material and manner of installation satisfactory to and approved by the \ officer or employee of tha City of Prichard charged with the duty of electrical inspections; provided that this section apply only to. com- mercial buildings or structures srxuiitingsxax in which members of the’ public assemble.s:: --: : ; SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corporation found guilty of violating Section 1 hereof shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than $100.00.
