Page 1 “4 2 ———7 ORDINANCE #1559 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #567 BE IT ORDIANED BY THE CITY COUNICL OF THE CITY OF PRICHARD, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS: Section’ 1. That’ Ordinance #567 not be changed, but that the license fee be temporarily waived for all ambulance companies. Section 2. That the 1981. license fee paid by Fountain's Ambulance Company be reimbursed. Section 3. . That the Police Public Safety Dispatchers call the ambulance company nearest to the emergency or any ambulance available who will respond. - Section 4. That liability insurance as required by Ordinance #567 be posted with License Officer. : Section 5. That liability insurance in the amount requried by Ordinance #567 be acquried for Paramedics emergency vehicles. This will be required in order that Paramedics can transport when no ambulance. is available. ra Section 6. That official city approval and permission be given to the Fire Department to transport victims when it is determined necessary. oe Section 7. That.grants be sought from any source to acquire ambulance vehicles and equipment for use by Paramedics. Section 8. That City of Prichard study recommendations, when presented with plan, for.
